Is it just me or is anyone else really looking forward to this new show called Turn by AMC? They've been hyping it for a few months now and aired ads for it during The Walking Dead commercial breaks. It's about the untold story of the first American spy ring that helped George Washington and America capitalize on the British during the American Revolutionary War between 1778 to 1781. The ads play it up nicely though and it looks full of action. Might be better than Hell on Wheels. What do you guys think?
I am not looking forward to it. It seems incredibly boring compared to AMC's other series. I think this new show will fail miserably. No one is going to want to see this. It will be like watching the history channel. AMC should have chose a series that will resonate with this generation. Like their other series. They will quickly learn that different is not always better. When "Turn" Fails maybe they will produce something more relevant.
