We often use lemons as an ingredient for fried food dip. We mix the juice squeezed from a lemon mixed with soy sauce and some chili peppers to use as a dip for fried fish or grilled pork. We also use lemons as a marinate ingredient for some grilled chicken. I am also guilty of buying too much lemon. When I notice that a week has passed and there are still lemons in the refrigerator, I squeeze them all to make lemonade.
Yeah, the lemon for the marinate is great! I don't exactly call it marinate, but especially with turkey meat I just add salt, garlic and lemon juice, sometimes half a lemon juice is enough and I let it sit for 30 minutes or one hour and it gives and incredible flavor to food, I love it. We can than fry it, I think it's what gives the best taste to the lemon.
I always have lemon in my house I used it in cooking, baking and for my DIY beauty/skin care project. Lemon has many benefits it can be use a as skin lightener or cellulite/stretch mark brightener. I also use lemon in my water, infuse water are the best if you are sick of drinking water alone because of its boring taste.
Interesting that you use it for the skin care, I thought that as it is too acid it would hurt the skin. How do you use it exactly and with what purposes bella, just to lighten marks? Doesn't that mark the skin in other way? I've heard about lemon in water, that it's a good cleanser of the body and for the immune system as well, but never tried it.
