I also have never used sunglasses because I wear eyeglasses, so I would like to think that it seems to also help in protecting my eyes. Come to think of it, I don't remember having the need to wear one since my eyes don't feel uncomfortable when I'm outside and the area is under direct sunlight.
I have to take my sunglasses with me, even the winter sun can be too bright. They allow me to be anonymous out and about, but they stop you squinting (wrinkles) and from walking into things when the sun is really strong. They are essential on hikes or climbing mountains as you can get blind sighted and lose your footing as the sun can be so strong. I do also use them to hold back my hair, but also to stop me from losing them!
That's how it started for me as well I think, I used to wear eyeglasses all the time as well, so I didn't want to carry an extra pair and switch when the sun came. Now I just wear eyeglasses at the computer, but still I am too lazy to carry sunglasses, I don't see the need for them.
I use sunglasses almost every time I go out. It's not because I need them or because they look cool. I just decided to start taking care of my eyes, and blocking out the sun is a great way to prevent a lot of eye related illnesses. I used to feel awkward at first, since I had never used sunglasses before in my life, but after a while I got used to it and now I can't leave the house without them.
That is true and that what is making me think that I should do the same Spectre, so well done to you. It's not just about me, even my kids should be wearing them as well, the sun is more and more aggressive and we need to protect our eyesight. The issue with kids is, how long will a pair of sunglasses last on them? One month?
