I'm looking for some old music to check out and purchase, but unfortunately I'm having a bit of trouble finding the type of songs I'm looking for so I'm hoping some of our members here could help me. What I'm really searching for is the type of music that is probably around the 50s, most likely the era before hippie / rock music kicked in. I think the appropriate term for it is Motown, and also ugh that genre is definitely welcome, I'm not looking for just that specifically. Basically anything that was made in the era of black and white would be good for me, but please do feel free to discuss any other vintage music of your choice apart from my own so everyone else could benefit off of this thread as well.
