Weight Lifting - Moving a weight from one place to another.
Weight Training - Using a weight to contract your muscles.
    What you guys think?

I can tell you the difference between bodybuilding and power lifting and
the difference between Olympic lifting and power lifting.
But I don't really know what you are asking or saying in the starter post.

You can't move weights through space without contracting your muscles and all weight training involves moving weight through space - I don't see a difference between weight lifting and weight training. I do weight training/lifting three times per week with heavy weights.
