Has anyone been on Weight Watchers for awhile? My husband and I have been doing it for three months. We're very happy with it so far. We've both lost weight, but I'm wondering what it's like in the long run. If you've done it for a year or more, are you still happy with it, or is it like other diets and you get sick of it?

My sister in law has been with Weight Watchers for more than a year now, and she's almost at goal weight. She doesn't get fed up with it, because it's a healthy eating plan rather than a diet. Basically, as long as you watch your points, you can eat whatever you want, so it's certainly a long term option. Congratulations on the weight loss, by the way.

Exactly. You can eat all sorts of thing under the plan, so it's all up to you whether you're going to get bored with it. If you choose to eat the exact same foods all the time, then yeah, you might get sick of it. If you mix it up, though, and keep things interesting, then you'll do fine with it longer term. :)

I have tried Weight Watchers and the different variations of it (Slimming World) and while I did lose weight successfully, I always ended up putting it back on! I think it is important to realise that in order for weight loss to be a permanent success, you need to change your whole attitude towards food, exercise and the way you eat. I know that as soon as I did that, I lost weight and kept it off and without any help or guidance.

    Just Wondering

Are you eating the Weight Watcher Smart One meals, or are you preparing your own. I have been thinking about trying this. But even though everyone says its so easy, it just seems so complicated to me. Maybe because I have been reading about it on the internet and not actually going in yet. I have seen so many variations I can't tell which one is right for me.
