First of all, I look for ease of use. Meaning that I have to be able to use it for my daily needs without any kind of trouble or lag, especially lag. Therefore, I for one went with an iPhone: no lag, lots of apps to choose from, easy texting and calling, and intuitive interface. The battery life is not exactly what I was looking for, but you have to compromise sometimes. That's about it for now!
Personally, when I spot a new smartphone, I want to know how much the battery will last. Since I`m an electrician and I work in all kind of locations, I don`t have to charge it every two days, I need to last up to four or five days. Next would be the processor, powerful enough to support an intense video calling, wifi connection, video streaming and browsing. Finally, the camera, smartphone below 5MP often provide blurry pictures
When looking for specifications when buying a smartphone, "three" is just not enough, in my opinion. I can be so picky when it comes to buying a phone. First of all, I make sure that the smartphone has a stylish design. Aesthetics is very important for me. I can be a very shallow person, but the outside look of a phone greatly matters to me. Second, I make sure that the smartphone is affordable. I only use the phone most of the time to call, send text messages, jot down important tasks, set appointments in my calendar, or take pictures as necessary. I seldom use it to listen to my playlist or to the radio, and I rarely surf the net with it. With the basic tasks at hand, I really do not need an expensive phone when an affordable one can let me do my tasks. Third, I want a phone that is a winner on durability and longevity. I don't buy phones often, and my smartphone has been with me for almost three years. I know that battery life is very important, which makes me sometimes give Samsung a low grade for this. However, with due care, my battery was able to last for more than two years, and until now, my phone is working fine. I still have a fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh other specifications when buying a phone, but those three are the most important in my list.
I don't care about the camera as I have a DSLR. What I care about is the processing speed and the memory of the device. The third thing would be looking out for the display resolution. Other than that, there is nothing a little cracking can't fix (Operating System wise). Price and brand is also taken in consideration.
Hm. I think I'm looking for more than 3 things, to be honest. First of all, the price. I really don't use my phone that much, so I definitely don't need a pricy, powerful model. Budget models are completely fine by me. Then, operating system. I'm used to Android, and I'm not looking to change it any time soon. (I mean, what else is there, really? I can't care less about Apple.) Battery life is also a thing I look for, because, especially with budget models, manufacturers are looking to cheap out of the battery. And another thing I absolutely want on a phone is a community around it. That means the phone needs to be able to be rooted and have people doing custom ROMs for it, so that I know that once the manufacturer kills the device, I'm not left out in the cold with old, unsecured OS build.
I look for a lot of things so narrowing it down would be difficult but I'll give it a go. Hardware Mainly the processor as I like to have a speedy performance on any deviceSize Since I am severely visually impaired I like for a large viewing area; this comes with a sacrifice as I have small hands.Storage Although I wish that my phone had external (Micro SD Card) storage; it did have 32GB of internal storage that made up for it.
I recently bought a new smartphone and did a lot of research before making my decision. 1--Value. I really look cost versus what I get in the phone. There is no way I would pay $700 for a phone. 2--Internal Storage. This is a very important to me. I need room for apps that can't be moved to the mircoSD card. This includes a phone that doesn't have a lot of bloatware. A phone might be 64 gigs, but only 8 gigs are available. That's just wasteful. 3--Android OS
While i'm set for Android now, I would really love for it to have a good processor and a hefty amount of memory. I hate having to boost up my phone because i'm out of memory. For the time being, my S4 runs smooth as nuttela and is more than I asked for. Very happy with the colors, performance and design.
The three most important things to have in a good phone (according to me) are: - Processor: these days of octa-core phones, you don't want to be left behind by having an old processor to save some bucks. Dual-core smarphones are more than enough for some people, but if you are a power-user you can't take chances, you should always get the best processor you can afford. - RAM: until project Ara becomes commonplace, you won't be able to upgrade your telephone's RAM, so it makes sense to snap the most GB amount here. - Screen technology: this aspect needs an informed decision. In general, you want the highest resolution and the most responsive touch. Apple's "Retina" technology started the high-res war, so you are better comparing your target model's specs to Apple's current leader (unless you go directly to Apple's offering).
For me the Make, Screen size, Design are the first things i look for when it comes to phones. The features are also very important for me. I have iPhone 5s and i think it's the best phone model ever.
Before buying any smartphone , I usually look at the Design, Camera and Processor. I want my new phone to be thin that I can easily put i in my pocket and stylish. I also want it to have a high resolution camera. I love to take picture of places so need my phone to have a good camera. Next is speed. I want my phone to be fast that why I always look to the processor.
The first thing I consider is the price of the phone. I see to it that it fits my budget. Once that this issue is settled, I then look into these:The power of the processorThe quality of the cameraI also see to it that it has a front cameraThe size of the screen (I want it big)How responsive the screen isThe battery lifeThe expandabilityThe design
The three things that I usually look into are camera, memory and performance. I usually do not bother about any other qualities. I do use this feature very extensively when compared to the rest of them.
