This is a combination food, but salad. I love salads, with cucumbers, tomatoes, cold cuts, croutons, cheese, and naturally lettuce That is a complete meal and probably cheating. "o)
I have many that I could not live without: - Chocolate soy - Oreo cookies - Perrier - Royal Gala apples - Doughnuts
I could not live without clementines, hummus, greens, almond milk and those types of items since I eat them on a daily basis. However, for my indulgences I couldn't give up dark chocolate, or any type of noodle specially in the form of pad thai.
Peanut butter is a staple in my diet that I have no desire to give up. It is relatively healthy, economical, convenient and calorie-dense.It makes for an easy on the go snack when I'm chasing my toddler around and it helps me to maintain my weight. I have already given up chocolate, so peanut butter stays!
I know that water is definitely one thing I do not want to live without. Besides that I would say bread.
I would say cheese too. It's way too yummy to give up! Some days I feel like all I could eat is cheese, especially pepper jack. I like the spicy taste to it.
I have a few basic food items that I can't live without. Bread, cheese, chocolates are at the top of the list. Besides these, I can't live without eating wafers. I love wafers of any flavor. Maybe cookies and muffins too are on my list.
Same here! I wouldn't be able to give up coffee. I know this 'cos I tried a few times and failed. Another thing I'd like to give up - but cannot - are dairy products. I'd really like to go vegan some day, but it just doesn't seem possible right now.
I wouldn't be able to give up chocolate. It's not a food staple and I don't eat it everyday. But I like to know that I have the option of eating it. If I had to give it up, I would be devastated.
I couldn't live without fruit. I've always loved it, ever since I was a baby. I even ate the strawberries off my birthday cake when nobody was looking when I was a baby! I imagine most babies would eat the icing, but no, I just ate the strawberries, lol.
Since I am assuming chips and diet coke are not basic, I would have to say pasta. This is my cheap and easy fix that is something all of my kids will eat and is a good filler when we are low on cash.
Cheese is a great answer and I agree with you as well. I'm stuck on crackers, cheese and grapes late night snacks. My husband loves mozarella cheese while I prefer sharp cheddar. We eat cheese here, cheese there, cheese everywhere. My 5 yr old loves string cheese and everytime we go grocery shopping we make sure not to leave without a block of cheese. My family and I are a bunch of cheese lovers and I don't see us outgrowing that anytime soon. Canned cheese is also great but nothing is better that sliced squared pieces of cheese on a wheat thin and a purple grape to top it off.MMMMMMMMMMMMMM, let me make a snack!
I love sandwiches more than anything else so the ingredients that combine to make a sandwich would definitely be on my list...I could live without a lot of things but sandwiches are a deal breaker for me.
I would say kale. I love it in everything I use for my meals and I also use it for juicing. Is water also a basic food item? Because I surely couldn't go without water!
I think I also can't live without water and rice. I need to eat rice with viand at least once per day, because I tried eating bread only and I felt really weak throughout the day.
