I am a basil fanatic. I grow all kinds of basil, I love Thai basil, and lemon as well as what is 'ordinary'. I also love oregano, I have greek as well as cuban. I love mints, I have chocolate as well as just ordinary spearmint, and peppermint. I grow stevia. I have a lemon garden with lemon balm, lemongrass, and lemon thyme. I don't have any now, but I LOVE caraway thyme, and it really does smell and taste like caraway seeds. I LOVE lemon verbena, and other not everyday mainstream type herbs. Right now I am growing patchouli, but alas, it's not 'dark' patchouli smell. I can barely smell it. I must have what they call 'green' patchouli. I just love making people say "WHAT"? And actually, I love learning about new varieties myself. Anyway, what do you grow that is not common in your area?
