I saw a product in the sporting goods section of the mall a while ago. It's called a Fitness Ball. I have heard about these before but never understood how they worked. What is a fitness ball? Well, it's basically a large ball that you can sit on, like this:
    leg-exercises-tb-leg-extension-1.
The darn ball costs $20 dollars. Is this oversized ball worth the investment? Or is it just a worthless piece of equipment that you could live without?

A Swiss doctor invented these exercise balls in the 60s they say, and thats probably why they call it a Swiss ball as well sometimes. It does look like you can do some crunches to build your abs up and also do some of the side lifts for the obliques and stretching your back. It looks like a great piece of equipment to have at home-but you probably need a few pointers from the video below to get started.
