I honestly can't actually believe that people hide food in their shopping carts at the grocery store, because they are ashamed to be eating it, or buying it for their family household lol. I probably shouldn't laugh, and should be more sensitive tot he issue, but I am just a little bit shocked. Having said that though, I do know of a few people who are overweight, and they tend to hide what they are buying if it is considered to be unhealthy foods.

I'm really not ashamed of anything I eat. I don't care what random people think about me. Plus I know I have my reasons. I do wish I could eat more healthy because I developed a condition (I know it's caused by stress because I never ate that much at all in one sitting) but it's rather difficult for someone who has heightened senses/a palate that is wired strangely so I find it harder to tolerate those things I do not like. Most vegetables I can't tolerate. But on the flip side I hate hot dogs and other unhealthy foods too. My weakness is I guess pizza and ice cream. If you relax and you eat in moderation I think you're fine but I don't like enough of the good stuff to balance out. What really sucks is I can't eat the healthy food I like seems like. Like I can drink orange juice but it's far too much citrus. Same with natural lemonade. I LOVE love lemonade. I can't have goat's milk because it has too much fat (I've tried the low fat the flavor is really bland on it) It also helps that I cannot cook or have a lot of money so that really limits the choices.
I just think it's crazy that we can't eat what we want because life is short.

Buying junk food is kinda awkward for me. I always tell my boyfriend and sister not to eat junk food because it is unhealthy. But there are times that I crave for one. As much as possible I really avoid it.

I don't think there is any food I'd be ashamed to buy. If I walk into a restaurant [and I don't do that often] then I'll buy anything on the menu and won't care what anyone will think.

I once tasted cow feet when I was traveling somewhere and I got some weird looks from other tourists [who happened to be in the same local restaurant but had ordered something more bland (french fries)] but I'd do it again any time because I liked the taste.

I would have to say mine is along the lines of McDonald's. I don't like to eat it, because I know it is not healthy. I do eat it though, because let's face it, it is cheap. I can eat a whole meal for a few dollars.

Probably sweets in general, chocolate more specifically. This last week I have been proudly eating only fruits as my dessert, but I go hard on the chocolate.... I used to buy 2 chocolate bars sometimes and eat them in one single day! Cakes as well, if I buy a good size I will eat it in one single serving to the point I'm really full. I'm definitely very embarrassed of that!

I don't necessary believe in that. While I am aware that some food are better for you than others, I don't think you should ever deprive yourself of a certain type of food and resort to shaming yourself as you eat it in the car way from prying eyes. It's all about moderation, and if I'm going to eat it I'm going to eat it and not be ashamed of what I'm doing. It's nice to treat yourself, and if you're eating well the rest of the time why should you be ashamed?
