I eat chicken a lot more than I eat fish. There aren't many dishes that have fish in them that I like. I've loved chicken since I was little, and now I can't go a couple of days without eating a chicken dish. The only fish I like is smoked salmon, but I rarely every eat that I've only had it twice in my life. I can't even count how many times I've eaten chicken, so chicken wins by a landslide. :D

To be honest, I prefer to eat chicken rather than fish. I have eaten fish beforehand and its not that I don't like fish, its just that I haver a natural love for chicken. I have eaten tilapia, bass and cape cod which is my favorite kind of fish that can be easily skinned and gutted. Now when it comes to chicken I like baked, fried, saute, and boiled. This all depends on the type of mood I am in and what I have a taste for.

I would thing hormone-free chicken is much better than fish because of the pollutants in the water. Some fish are just in some really gross water. I'd rather eat a chicken from a free range farm than some suspicious fish any day.

Chicken always seems more substantial than fish. I don't often get full off of fish dishes. But I am trying to eat more of it. I like the taste of it, but sometimes I'll make something such as broiled tilapia with steamed veggies, and eat the whole plate and feel like I didn't eat anything.

I prefer chicken as well. It's cheaper, easier to cook, and more readily available. Fish is good occasionally, but not all the time.

Healthwise, I think it depends on where you are getting your chicken and fish from. Personally, I consume a lot more chicken than I do fish because of its affordability and versatility. I would love to eat salmon on a weekly basis, but the best salmon around here is around $20 for two filets! So for now, I will stick with my hormone and steroid-free chicken. Ever since the original Gulf Coast oil spill, I haven't been too keen on fish anyways.

I consume more chicken than fish but I believe that fish is better. I have this idea on my mind that seafood is always better in terms of nutritional value and freshness compared to poultry products.

I would think that fish would be better, because fish contains Omega oils. I like chicken as well as fish. I eat both.

I eat both, but I probably eat more chicken than fish, because it's so much more versatile. Both are high in protein and low in fat, although fish has the advantage of being rich in Omega-3 fatty acids. Poultry and fish is definitely a healthy way to take in protein, and tuna is a quick, easy and healthy meal choice. So I'd say - at least as far as I'm concerned - the honours are even between fish and chicken.

Chicken because it is cheaper, more readily avaliable, more versatile, and it isn't full of mercury. Omega-III fats might be good for your brain, but mercury is not and it will do your liver no favor either.

To me...chicken. I don't like fish, can't stand it actually so this is a no brainer for me. It is also much cheaper and you can do a lot more things with it. Fish can really only do limited things.

Of course it depends on how they are prepared. But I think you get more bank for your buck with fish. Not battered or anything, just grilled with some lemon and seasonings. There is practically no fat in fish. So if you are looking for a healthier lifestyle, I think fish is the way to go.

I like the taste of chicken way better than fish. There are very few types of fish that I actually like. However, I think fish is very healthy, it has a ton of health benefits. There are supplements of fish oil, I haven't seen any from chicken. Here are a few benefits fish has:

Help maintain a healthy heart by lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of sudden death, heart attack, abnormal heart rhythms, and strokes.
Aid healthy brain function and infant development of vision and nerves during pregnancy.
May decrease the risk of depression, ADHD, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and diabetes.
May prevent inflammation and reduce the risk of arthritis.

Some types are also good for low thyroid function. I have low thyroid so I did some research and need to add fish into my diet now. I wish I liked it more.

I only eat chicken. I have never had fish before because the smell, the scales, and the face disturb me. I know they won't serve it with the face on at a restaurant..I hope? But the image totally repulses me. I just avoid all seafood period. Now which is better for you...hmm well, you have mercury and other poisons being ingested by fish due to us polluting our sea waters, but then you have these chickens that have been fed genetically modified food, so that can't be good for us either. I go for organic foods for that reason.

If it comes to vitamins and nutrients then fish is certainly better for you. When it comes to chicken, you can make a lot more recipes with it and it tastes absolutely fantastic. I love fish too, but the dishes are quite finite. How many recipes can I do with a salmon steak? Not a whole lot.

Unfortunately, as Ich bin Gia said, our sea waters have become so polluted, but then chickens eat GMOs. We're screwed either way!

Fish is healthier but way more expensive than chicken, especially if you don't live near any coastline. You can still make great use of chicken in all kinds of meals.

I prefer chicken to fish. There are very few kinds of fish which I like to eat and only when its cooked in a certain way. Chicken on the other hand is something I'm extremely fond of eating. There are so many recipes for chicken and its not only more filling but also cheaper than fish.

I would go for fish because they are healthy. Chicken is also a rich source of protein but chicken skin has a lot of cholesterol. Also fishes have omega 3 oil that is an essential oil. You just have to make sure that the fish you are eating were well-made.
