I paid $700 to purchase my Galaxy Note 2 more than one year ago. It was my very first time to purchase a phone (all of my phones were either given to me by my uncle or taken from a mobile plan). Did I get my money's worth? Of course! It's an awesome phone and I really love it. I use it every time. I use it to browse the internet, read ebooks, play games, watch movies, chat with my friends, control powerpoint presentations (using Splashtop) and many more!

Will I purchase another phone as expensive as the Galaxy Note 2? Hmm, I don't know... Maybe... But not in the near future. I'm still very much contented with my phone.

It's got to be the iPhone 5 for me. I wasn't really going to buy it at first but I got my 4S busted so I had to pick up a new phone and at that time I had a lot of spare cash to just burn so I went for it, I was kind of disappointed to be honest.

The most expensive phone i have is iPhone 5s, this is my current phone and i bought it for almost $600. I don't regret buying it one bit. This is basically my life now. lol I do everything in this phone, reading, music, texting and what not. I think this is the most advanced phone at the moment and I'm glad i own one. :)

I have had a lot of mobile phones in the past. Most of them were just cheap as I couldn't afford a better one at that time. But now that I have some money to spare, I have bought iPhone 5 with it. It's amazing to say the least. I love the performance. The only problem is that I can't play MP3 files in ti. This is the thing they should fix.

The most expensive phone that I have owned has the be the Galaxy Note 3 that I have now, I brought it the first week it came out after falling in love with the looks on previews, and when I saw it on sale for £449 (£50 off in a promotion offer for 1 day only) on amazon, I bought it.

I've never really been a "techy person", or that much into phones. I guess I've always thought around the lines of a phone just existing for me to make and receive phone calls and text messages, but as times have changed, with the heightened advancement of technology, as well as the demand for the use of it, I guess it would be safe to say that the type of phone that I've gone for has changed too.
The most expensive phone I've gotten is the one I have now: an LG D500. It's an Android phone, and I must say that I'm more or less comfortable with it, as it performs the basic necessary functions that I need it for: internet, apps, emails and phone calls and text messages.
But my main issue with it is that it tends to be a bit slow in the way that it operates. Whereas I am normally able to access the internet, and the information I need to secure via this medium, it's often quite annoying when the connection is basically "buffering indefinitely", because my phone's system is just too weak to pick up a wifi connection that my wife's Samsung S3 is operating on with absolute ease!

I appreciate this LG, but I think I need to upgrade, and I wouldn't mind some help on which model is the most efficient. Thanks for this thread!

Mine was around $300. I needed a specific iphone for my job, didn't want to renew my cell phone contract, and instead of buying it brand new, outright, I bought a used one on Ebay. It was definitely more money than I ever planned to pay for a phone, but oh well.
