Yes, there is not much worse than partaking in any type of work and not feeling like your effort is being compensated fairly. I have encountered that with a few websites now, not just mylot. It may be inconsistent because earnings depend upon interaction with other members, and sometimes there's more interaction than other times?

I like using Swagbucks. I find that I don't have time to try and earn extra money on too many websites. I am sticking with this website and swagbucks. On swagbucks I watch videos, complete surveys and use the search engine. The points can add up quickly. I just let the videos run on my desktop and every few minutes I can tap on another. It's pretty good money for mindless work. I try and earn 100 points a day and then in 2-3 months you've got an extra $100.

Well, I think my favorite is Textbroker. In terms of the GPT sites, I would still go with Inbox Dollars because they have such a variety of offers. Pinecone Research is really good, but you can only count on a survey or two pre month. I like Postloop as well, but my earnings are limited. It is definitely worth doing however.

I'm really surprised to hear that people are doing well with InboxDollars and Pinecone Research because I never had much luck with either! I guess it could be because of where I live. They just never seem to have anything for my neck of the woods, that's why I ended up throwing in the towel on both, and whole slew of other survey and GPT sites :(

Pinecone Research is one of my top and favorite earners online. I have only had one or two problems with them, at best. Other than that one time, things have gone off without a blip. They pay on time - I rarely have to prompt them, and they pay before the three days time that they could pay you within. It is usually always the next day. And you always know what to expect with each study.

I love Swagbucks as well! I earn many points by watching videos and using their search engine. I also have used Slice the Pie, which is a website where you listen to and review music. You are basically giving feedback to a musician/band that is starting out in the music industry.

DreekLass, you're so lucky; you seem to be doing well with survey sites :) Good for you! PineCone is one of the survey sites that I registered with very early on when I started doing online work, and it didn't work for me at all. Again, I think it comes right down to their target audience, which I'm obviously not a part of sadly :(

I have the same issue with PineCone @Lushlala@Lushlala, I'm not in the niche they're interested in, so am not able to make money there at all.

I still haven't signed up for Bing Rewards. I probably should have done so before Christmas, because I was doing quite a bit of research then, which means lots of searches. I made some money on Qmee because of that, although still not as much. I have noticed that Qmee has a lot more price matches these days than actual paying link clicks, which can be o.k. in certain circumstances, but I'm primarily using it to make a little money. Because of that, I'll probably open a Bing Rewards account, and maybe will be able to earn a little money that way in the new year.

I was very interested in Bing Rewards because I too do a lot of searches online. But Alas! I remember trying for it and finding out I wasn't eligible to participate. Now that you mention it, @Diane Lane@Diane Lane, I've heard of Qmee and people seem to sing its praises, but I have yet to try it. I looked at the FAQs and there doesn't seem to be anything on there that says I can't take part. Does anyone know if it's open to everyone?

It is strange because on other websites, people seem to be reporting that they were able to make decent money over on MyLot, so I am wondering what they know that we do not. Maybe you should go ahead and email them to ask them what the earning criteria is, and clear this up once and for all.

I too find it very strange! But you also have to ask yourself if they are embellishing their success rate over there LOL I've recently been seeing quite a few people claiming to have reached cash out, and I just can't work out how they do they do it. I think I'm going to go right ahead and ask them. But I can almost see their answer, just keep posting and interacting. Which is what I tried to do, sometimes not receiving any points for my effort for consecutive days. I'll let you know if I find out anything.

I love PeoplePerHour because it isn't like the websites that only pay pennies - you get real money for doing real jobs, and you don't even have to leave your home. I have met many of my clients on there, and I now complete lots of work for all of them on a daily basis. Oh, and I love PostLoop too, and I use that to fill any spare time that I might have between completing work for my regular clients.

    @GemmaRowlands....
A friend recommended PeoplePerHour a few years ago, but I have never really done anything on there. It's a lovely website, too. It seems to be a legitimate paying site that doesn't make a lot of noise. I like it because it's a proper freelance site and pays good rates, but I just wasn't confident I'd be able to secure work on there! But now that I've been doing this online stuff for going on for two years now, I have a little more confidence, I might just bite the bullet and give it a go :)

Hopefully you'll excuse my butting in here - but as I saw that you had mentioned Qmee - which is a site I've been wanting to join for ages - especially as I know many people that are currently using this site and have been for quite some time and who are also - not only very happy with it but are earning a nice amount of extra cash from doing very little.

In answer to your question - sorry to say - Qmee is unfortunately not yet international and is at present - still only available in The States and the UK - however as I've heard that there are plans to add additional Countries - for example Australia and Canada - sometime in the near future - it may well be worth while checking every now and again - not just to see if they have implemented those changes but to see if there are plans to expand even further - like perhaps internationally.

In the meantime - as I do check every now and again - should I hear of any further changes I will let you know.

Ah that's too bad, but perhaps they will expand soon (both BingRewards and Qmee), so you will be able to participate @Lushlala@Lushlala. So many of my other sites have slowed down or come to a complete stop right now that it might be a good time for me to follow up with BingRewards. I hope Qmee picks back up and gives paying links, rather than mostly price matches. I guess maybe their revenue sources have slowed, or perhaps they've found this is a new way to make money, but it's disappointing to see links thinking you'll be making money, then realize it's just a price match or better price.

This is the first time that I am ever hearing about peopleperhour. I have been to the site and upon first impression, I have to say that it just seems like a less popular fiverr, where you can charge and earn more than five dollars for your services. It doesn't seem very active? Either way I signed up with them, and when an idea hits me I will create a gig.

Yes, that was the impression I got too, DreekLass. So the first time I checked it out, I decided not to go with it. Now I'm wondering if that could be an advantage, the fact that the site isn't saturated. It could mean there's not as many people jostling for the same type gigs. I'm seriously considering registering with it and seeing how it pans out for me. I just have to think of something unique to offer LOL

Thanks gata montes and Diane Lane for the heads up :) Don't worry about butting in, @gata montes@gata montes....all ideas and opinions are welcome. It's such a shame about Qmee, but I do hope their plans to open their doors up to more countries will come to fruition sooner rather than later. I hate to sound like a broken record, but it can get very frustrating for us international workers, when we find out a site we want to join is not open to us! I can only hope that things keep getting better and better this year **sigh**

I had that thought too lol. Maybe if I did create a gig, then maybe I would have a better chance because it is not as saturated. But I got the impression more that it is not very rich in those who are doing the purchasing. The area of the site that does the selling seems to have a vast array of different services being offered though. I don't see many reviews or anything like that though.

OMG @DreekLass@DreekLass...Look what I found! I did a search for reviews and was really rather pleasantly surprised. For the most part, people are very happy with their experience of PeoplePerHour :) Of course, there will always be nay sayers here and there. What I like about the link I'm posting below, is that PeoplePerHour seem to care about what people are saying about them and have responded to some of the negative reviews, even indicating how they intend to address the disgruntled campers. Have a look:
