What is your guilty pleasure, the one thing you are willing to splurge on for yourself? Even when you splurge on something you don't normally spend money on, do you still try to save on the cost? I do. My guilty pleasure is the occasional getaway with my husband. This usually occurs on or around our anniversary.

Last year, we saved all year for it, because it was our 20th, so we spent a bit more. We rented a gorgeous cabin for the weekend. Still, we used a gift card we had been gifted when we out for dinner, and we took along some food, so we didn't need to eat out every meal.

Is it possible to save money while splurging? Sure it is. How do you do it?

My guilty pleasure would be the occasional bar of chocolate or cake bought from the shop. I have food allergies so these things are expensive for me - it can be upwards of $10 for a small cake for example. But for special occasions and when I don't feel like making it myself I will splurge a little.

Stupid reality shows and shopping for makeup and beauty items I do not need!!!
I love watching shows like Real Housewives and The Bachelor. And I'm always looking at those stupid newsletters from Sephora and MAC, even when I shouldn't be buying new makeup for a whole year .
Lately my other guilty pleasure has been searching for wedding inspiration pictures on Instagram and Pinterest! I'm getting married next year and I'm obsessed.

My guilty pleasure is fancy coffee drinks from Starbucks or other expensive coffee shops which sell coffee with different syrups, cream and other additions. These drinks are so delicious, but quite expensive to buy on a regular basis. That's why I only get them on special occasions or when I'm feeling down and want to get something nice for myself.

My husband and I are always working. We work through weekends and holidays as well as long hours, and our guilty pleasure is going out eating at nice restaurants. We don't always pay full price because some of our faves do run regular specials. For instance, there's this fantastic steak and rib place that does half price every Monday night. So sometimes we take advantage of this promotion, but we have to get there early to secure a nice table outside because nobody wants to sit indoors! The good's gorgeous, the service impeccable and the ambience out of this world.

My other guilty please is clothes, clothes and more clothes. I can never have enough clothes. I do shop for bargains, but sometimes I just like to spoil myself. What can I say, I like to look good LOL :)

I go along with Luhlala. I think good restaurants and clothes are also my indulgences. I do like to spend money when I have it, so I will always do something I enjoy. I love to travel too, and going on trips always makes me happy. That is one thing that bums me out right now..is that my car can not be trusted to go on any major forays.

I think buying kitchen gadgets is my guilty pleasure. No matter how many mandolins, garlic presses and various knives I own, I'm still magnetically attracted to the racks of housewares at Marshall's.
Whisks and cookie cutters and potato mashers are like crack to me.

My guilty pleasure is buying a small container of pipi kaula a seasoned flank steak that's so soft and I'm not supposed to eat at all, but I do indulge myself with it when I can get just a few pieces of it. I go to our local supermarket called Don Quiote where they've just a small container all cut up into slivers of pipi kaula beef! I love it and I do enjoy it!

My guilty pleasures are books, movies, travelling (a mighty expensive hobby in fact) and eating out at various restaurants. I plan out the books and movie tickets I intend to buy as well as the restaurants and places I intend to visit. I budget and schedule my purchases and adventures so that by the time I execute my plans, I have more than enough money left for my savings.

It's fun to splurge and pamper ourselves a bit. We all need something nice to look forward to from time to time.

Do you guys try find the best deals on your luxury items, dinners, or trips? Do you use coupons or savings programs or member cards or other deals for fancy foods and drinks? What is the best way to save money while still enjoying some of the finer things?

One example is booking a hotel in advance or using a member program for a discount. Some restaurants do happy hour (or similar deals with other names), which includes the drinks and sometimes appetizers, so that's a great time to go. Some offer nice specials too.

I'm always looking for more ways to indulge without breaking the bank.

I like 3D art models. That stuff is outrageously fun. However, it's an expensive hobby. In fact, I really think that the extreme fans are rich. Anyway, there might be times when I go all out in buying models, not minding that I might need money to survive on for the month.

I think my guilty pleasure is drinking wine with my meals or enjoying it at other times -and I try to fine some good cheap wines when I go shopping. They tell you to look for wines and grapes that are unknown like Albarino or Nero d'Avola -and they are right I have never heard of any these ones.

I used to take alcohol especially during weekends when I have excess
time. It really ravaged my peace being a man of faith not to mention
my pockets. I have since quit. I now relish taking a cup of tea any
time what with caffeine addiction but mercifully, its much cheaper and
    soft on my conscience.
