This Christmas, I saved big on presents by taking advantage of 2-for-1 sales. I decided to give similar gifts to children (not in my household) that were cheaper in pairs. I also made dessert trays/plates instead of giving away whole cakes or pies to neighbors, which kept costs low in the food arena.
I did't save any money this past Christmas. I actually over extended myself. I bought a lot of gifts. It was worth it though. It is always nice to put a smile on someones face. I received a lot of gifts too. I guess you get what you give. It was nice to know that people appreciated my generosity.
