In order to save money, I normally keep snacks in my desk drawer at work. They usually are the following foods - nuts, cheese and crackers, and mini candy bars. I also bring Crystal Light 8-oz packs to make drinks.

I usually stack up on KitKat and various brands of chips when I feel like munching on something. But when I know that I'm very hungry, then I won't touch them at all, and I will opt for something heavier to eat like pasta, rice or a burger.

I try to keep a supply of rice crackers nearby. I think they are a good option because they are relatively healthy since they are baked and they aren't too salty or sweet so I assume that it has a little less amount of calories than most other snacks. The best thing about it is that there are many flavors of it and they are all equally good and healthy, so I'm less likely to get sick of it immediately. I also have an assortment of other biscuits, but this is my main one as I'm satisfied with just one or two individual packets.
