I use a Lodge cast iron pan. Not the easiest pan to use on a regular basis. It's a summa-itch to clean and to keep from rusting and it's a pretty temperamental pan but I still go for that as a first choice. I suppose I have a second favourite but I would much rather hear what you guys use. Do you have a favourite style/brand of frying pan? Do have one that you cannot stand? Does anyone use copper pans? I'm not a serious gourmet cook , I just cook to make sure that my kid eats balanced meals, and to save money. So I just use nonstick pans. I've heard a lot of good things about cast iron pans but I can't picture myself taking care of one and seasoning it with oil. The only pans I can't stand are the ones that are just steel or aluminum, with no nonstick coating. I hate scrubbing stuck on food off pans and I like pans that are easy to clean.
