Without my computer, I suppose I'd spend more time outdoors looking after livestock and fishing in the small stream that cuts across our farm. But it doesn't mean I'll be any happier. I'm addicted to the internet and taking it away for any reason would definitely affect me in ways I can't explain. On the plus side, it will save me some cash on internet bills.
Im not too sure what i would do without my computer. It is not that i use it to entertain me but a lot of my work has to do with my computer and so i think that if i did not have a computer i would actually be out of a job and that would essentially render my life as i know it useless.
I think it would be very difficult for me to go without my computer. I use my computer daily, and several times during the day. I prefer my computer over watching television. One day I was late paying my internet bill and my internet service was suspended. It drove my crazy that I was unable to get online to use my computer. My service was restored in several hours, but those few hours without my computer was torture!
Considering how much time I spend on the computer doing various things, and even watching movies and shows...I guess I'd have to actually start using my television again?
I would go insane. I have a hard enough time making an income as it is. I don't know what I'd do for money. Well I guess I could still do it but I just don't know how. It's not as easy to do many things on a smartphone or even a tablet. All I felt like doing a few days ago was watching TV because my cold was draining me but that's not me at all. I still watch TV when I'm eating but the computer is my primary form of entertainment. When I'm on vacation, of course I don't really care but there's nothing to do where I live.
These days I only use my computer for work and checking my e-mails. If I could do my job without a computer, I would get rid of it completely and only ever use internet cafes and libraries to access the internet, which I mainly use as a source of information. I am not interested in social websites, games or whatever else is on offer . I like Skype and shopping for certain things online, but that's about it.
I use my computer for all sorts of things. I could go without using it for a day or two, but I usually end up needing it for something or other. When it comes to internet, I could go about a week without using it as I'm used to outages and I don't need the internet nearly as much as I used to. I still use it for working though, so I need it pretty often.
