    A lot.

Buttons can be used as an accessory which can transform you outfit into something entirely different. Obviously it would only change the appearance but if someone or people you come in contact with get to wonder how expensive your fancy shirt is, then you wouldn't have to spend a lot of money buying expensive clothes so you can appear classy, right?

All you'd need to upgrade a cheap shirt, blouse, etc would be . . . fancier buttons. Gold [colored] buttons?

Oh my gosh, buttons are so important! I love adding them to heavy coats and simple dress shirts. I have a deep purple peacoat that looks fabulous, by adding some big, detailed bronze buttons I made it look so much nicer.

Thinking of it, I'll have to go button searching for a new dress I've been wanting to do something with..
