Personally I have really like what Smart Proof Cases have done. I know they are a little bit on the expensive side - but look at is as insurance premium for your new phone. They are water proof, shock proof, and dirt proof. Last time I was at the ocean on vacation no joke I had my phone in the water with me and were taking pictures of the fish
I agree with many others about Otterbox. They're expensive for sure, but they're worth it. To be honest, I had one on my Ipod, and it still broke. That being said, it just broke the glass. I'm pretty sure if it hadn't had an Otterbox that it would have been the whole phone. Apple products are notoriously fragile. I was able to replace the glass and the Ipod was fine. It also keeps the phone/Ipod safe from some water damage too.
I got a very nice Otter box case! Am very happily with that case and i have to say it has nice stylish too!
