Most books when they're newly-released sell at very high prices. It's hard to resist buying a new book with bloggers raving about how great it is, paid reviewers telling you about what you'll miss out if you don't buy the book and so on. But unless you need that book at that exact time, don't buy it. Patience will save you a few bucks. Wait a few months and buy a secondhand copy from Amazon or eBay or wherever else you please but at almost half of what it would have cost you to buy a newly-released book.
