And do you have to prove it's your birthday in order to get the most out of these sorts of offers? I've been sent additional loyalty points for my birthday before from a few companies here in the UK, as well as birthday points from survey companies. It'd be useful to get more free things for my birthday though.
You know I remember that I always was weary about giving up my birthday to companies, and I always wondered why they would even want to know it. Then one day I got a special discount at a store because they knew that it was my birthday, and my perspective changed a little bit. I am still weary, but at least now I know that some good can come of it.
