My Desktop computer keeps warning me that my system battery is low! After checking with Dell support, I was told to replace it with a new one. Since I don't have an option, I have resorted to buy it albeit at low price. Any Ideas where I can realize this dream?
If you are referring to the CMOS Lithium batteries that go on the motherboard, then these should be available for a couple of dollars on ebay. In fact, you may even find a whole pack of 20 for less than a tenner...not that you will need that many in one go, unless you are assembling a few Dell PCs.
I think I need to check it on eBay as you have suggested. I just don't know whether they still do the shipping for free. Thanks for this input anyway!
You should go to the Dell Outlet. I have gotten some really good deals there! I have actually purchased computers for $100-$200. They are computers that customers refused. Meaning they arrived to the customer's house and were never even open. They arrive within a day or 2, and work great. Personally I haven't had a problem. Even though I am not a big fan of Dell, its the best way to go.
I'm not a fan of Dell, but that's not bad. My nephew needs a new laptop. If the Dell Outlet doesn't work out, then try newegg.com. They have a wide variety of computer parts at great prices. Amazon is also great, but probably be as cheap as the other sites that have been mentioned.
The best place to check for something like that would either be on Newegg or Amazon. Not a desktop, but when my battery was failing on my laptop (Lenovo T400) I was able to pick up a new battery for around $30. Hopefully I was able to give you valid feedback.
Thanks guys. I'll be trying the Newegg.com and check for the deals whether it is within my budget. I'll get to you guys with more information!
