Do you keep a good stash of emergency items and supplies in your vehicle, especially during the winter or other extreme weather? If so, do you just randomly pick up this or that when you can or do you have a place where you get good deals on such things? What types of things do you carry around in your car for emergencies? Where do you buy them?
My emergency stash changes with the hot and cold seasons. For the summer I keep coolant at least one container, all of the oils needed and windshield wiper fluid. For the winter blankets and ice scraper. Throughout the year flashlight, first aid kit, jumper cable, a radio, and my cell phone. Auto Zone is my place of choice for my supplies and most last for a long period of time so I don't mind spending extra for them.
