I'm looking to save up for a week long trip to Florida for a family of 5. We want to go to Disney World and all of its attractions. We also want just a couple days of beach relaxation. I want to get a round about estimate on what it would cost to go. Does anyone know the best website to go to and get my estimates? I know the prices may be a bit higher for a year from now but I can at least get a good guess by having one of these websites give me estimates.
I travel a lot and have typically found the best prices on Kayak.com. Often you can find even cheaper prices by downloading the app of a particular travel company because they're trying to promote their mobile services. I got a really cheap ticket from Germany to the US through the expedia app. In general, though, I would recommend Kayak. You could also try looking through "lastminute" deals to see if there are any cheap flights to Florida.
Many travel sites are moving on Google but in my point of view i agree with megshoe that Kayak is one of the best travel site because i have experience with site to travel..
You can often save money on Disney vacations booking through Costco and Disney travel specialists. Also, request a vacation planning DVD and Disney will often send you discount codes for hotel stays. I would book the Disney plans separately from your beach plans, to get the best value. Kayak and booking buddy a great for finding good flight discounts. Time of year matters for price on Disney vacations, if you can avoid school breaks you will save some money, but if not then just see who will give you the best offers. Small World Vacations has a great reputation.
