I would go with android. I don't know much about windows phone. But I have always had droids and I love them just about all the apps are free and their pretty tough phones.

I'm using an android phone. For me it's better than the windows. I like the applications. The games are great. It's more fun and easy to use. From my previous phone, the games were really limited. Some applications that I like is not applicable. With those reasons, I can say Android is better for me.

As much as I hate my Android, I can see why everyone else likes it. My husband has went Apple and I detest it more than mine lol

I guess Android wins in this forum! Poor windows. And I think that even if the choice was between iOS and Android, Android would still win. There are more things that I can do "freely" with an Android.

I would go with Android when comparing two cellular devices. I would pick Android because I have had Android phones and I have never had any problems with any Android device that I have owned. Although if we were comparing the two brands I would pick Windows any day of he week.

To me, it would depend on what platform you are coming from. If you're coming from BlackBerry, then either would be fine as you are really just getting into apps on your phone. Then, you would need to consider what you use in the rest of your life. Maybe you are a Windows user on your PC, the phone will only help you integrate all of that into one ecosystem.

I use Android, but as Windows improves, I could see myself looking at a Windows phone. I just need to see if it will still have the apps that I've become accustomed to on Android.

I recently switched from a Blackberry to an Android and I couldn't be happier! So my obvious answer would be Android over Windows phone. My cousin has a Windows phone and I know her biggest complaint about it is the app selection. Although the Windows market place is not as bad as App World on Blackberry, it still pales in comparison to the app selection on Android and IOS. If you are the type of person who just needs the basic, phone calls and texting and maybe the social networking sites like Facebook than the Windows Phone may be the way to go. Also, if you are a heavy Xbox gamer than that is another plus to get a Windows phone since it can connect to your Xbox account.

However, if you want customization, app selection, and a magnitude in accessories than I would choose Android for sure. The Samsung Galaxy line or HTC One would be my suggestion.
