Have you won something fabulous in a contest or sweepstakes? or maybe your sister or your mother did? I thought it might be fun to start a thread with things people really have won something....I will start. My brother won a 42" flat screen TV from an online submission through "sweepstakes lovers"
I won honorable mentions in the Wergle-Flomp humor poetry contest (see the website Winning Writers dot com) I won $80 for honorable mentions. It was a very fun contest to enter with no entry fee, and the prizes were really good.
The best thing I have won online was a large Dr. Pepper cooler. It probably would have worth about 25 or 30 dollars retail, but I am always hopeful to win something a bit better or a bit more useful. There are plenty of contests out there I think it is something that I want to pursue, entering contests online, as multiple contests exist, I think the best ones to enter are those that have multiple prizes as many of them exist.
