I've had rumors of this [new?] operating system that's a hybrid of XP sp2 and Linux. I'm yet to try it out, since it's free and most of my Windows programs would run on it [talk of convenience] but before I do, I'd like to hear what you guys think about it, if you have used it or at the very least, tested it out.
I think it's a hacked version of windows that is modified to work and look like Ubuntu like replacing the original XP programs with open source ones. I did some searching and it doesn't seem useful but I didn't find anything beyond forum posts. Still, I don't think it's very legitimate and would avoid it.
I really don't like those crossover OS'es. They all look fake or like crap. If you want to switch, switch already and don't be stuck on the same on OS.
