I usually don't take notice of infomercials, but this one really caught my eye. It's called Wipe New. What it does it restores the color of your faded car bumpers. At first I thought it was too good to be true. However, they said it stayed on the car after 100 car washes. I hope that's factual. Has anyone had and success with this product?

Yeah, I saw that commercial. They really made it look good. Not sure I am falling for it. I was also waiting to see if there are any online reviews before splurging on it.

Found one review, among so many others, that seems a little more genuine than the rest>

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for that link! I like the video with the guy doing the Miata. He shows parts you can also wipe that weren't in the commercial. This does seem to work, and I'll definitely be looking more into it.

It sounds like a toilet-use product, if you know what I mean.

Can't you just clean your bumpers with armor all or something?

Armor all doesn't last and fades quickly. I'm still not sure about this product. I want to use something like this so I don't have to spend a large amount of money on repainting the bumpers.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with that statement.

Well, take it through a few car washes and see what happens.

Does anyone know if you can buy Wipe New in any stores? I'm really surprised I can't find it anywhere.

There are a few out there. Check on Google. For the most part, they're good. I've seen a few bad ones though. It still amazes me this isn't in stores. I might just get Mother's Back to Black.

I would be a little apprehensive of using a product that won't wash off evenly, but that's just me. What if you apply it and it leaves uneven streaking or something? It might end up looking worse than it originally did.
