I'm thinking about cutting my hair and am looking for ideas on what would go with my face shape. Does anyone have a method of deciding what hair styles look good on what face types? The only thing I have found is that round type faces look good with pixie cuts. I also think the type of hair you have makes a difference. Mine is not curly but it is thick, and I have a big head. That is an odd description but I'm not one of those who will look cute in anything. Any ideas?

My face has an oblong yet slightly roundish shape, so whenever I set my hair, I try to avoid hairstyles that accentuate the roundness of my face such as a bun or a pony tail. I do like to wear simple French braids. During special occasions, crown braids can help put out a more regal look. I can tolerate up-dos so long as the stylist frees up a few tendrils at the side of my face. This reduces the roundish shape.
