Would you contact the BBB about a negative health care experience to try to prevent paying the bill?

    Hi everyone -

I guess I am seeking some advice on how I could not pay the full price on an ER bill because they did not provide adequate care. I ended up having to drive immediately to another ER (hospital), where I received good care.

Basically, I had a health condition that I knew would need a blood test. These brand-new, ER facility (not attached to a hospital) opened in our city about 3 months ago. I decided to go there b/c I didn't want to risk catching the FLU or whatever.

Well, I called -and they told me they had a lab- and they were just like other ERS. WRONG. They were not able to do the test I needed, and had to go to another ER.

I have not received the bill yet.

But I'm considering contacting the BBB. What would you do?
