Yes, I would certainly buy gifts from stores like that. In my opinion, I buy gifts for people because I believe that they can be of benefit to the person who I am buying them for. A book can be read whether it is new or not, just as games can be played. There is very little to be gained from buying something new, to be honest, because life is about the experiences that you have, and spending more money doesn't really make those experiences any better.
