Would You Include Your Pet In Your Will?

    Either you are joking or you misunderstood the thread like I did mate. The OP meant would you make sure your pet was taken care of after you die in a will, like "my dog will go to my brother if I die". You know, make it legal? Otherwise if you don't specify and you suddenly die and nobody in your family or friend circle steps up the animal would end up in a shelter.

    As much as I love my dog, of course I won't leave him anything in my will, what's he going to do with it?
    I don't understand people who leave huge inheritances to animals, it makes no sense, I think it's enough to find the pet a suitable new owner and if you have no family to leave the money to, simply donate it all.
