Any of the Orlando theme parks. I don't know if you've ever done this before, or if you've gone to any 3-d movies in the movie theater. I my opinion, the 3-d is not that good. You can see some depth on the screen, but things don't really "Jump off the screen" like you would think. If you go to Orlando, here are a few of the actual 3-d (or 4-d) shows you MUST see if you go to Orlando: Shrek (Universal Studios) Dispicable Me (Universal Studios) Terminator 3-D (Universal Studios) Spiderman (Islands of Adventure) Mickey's Philharmagic (Magic Kingdom) Soarin' (Epcot - not technically 3-d. Do it anyway!!) Star Wars (Hollywood Studios) It's Tough being a Bug (Animal Kingdom) Anything else I may have forgotten . . . do those too!!
I think your experience with Disney and your excitement for being there and clouding your judgement. I live in FL and have seen these events tons of times and they look the same as the 3D movies I see in theaters.
I live in Florida as well - about an hour away from Orlando. I will agree to disagree with you on that. Using Shrek as an example, I having seen any movies in the theaters that the objects effectively jump off the screen the way they do on Shrek. I'm not going to tell you how you experienced 3-d movies in theaters - it's been my experience with 3-d movies in theaters that what I've written is the case. If anyone else has any opinions, please feel free to weigh in.
